When I went shopping with my mom before 10, I was always told I have an expensive taste. Almost always, I could spot the most pricy item on the rank and said, I want this. This is nothing unusual. Every kid loves things pretty, shiny, smooth and fancy. It’s supposed to be when we grow older, we will understand the price we are going to pay for our desires of owning a leather handbag, a candle light dinner, a handsome man, a tropical island trip, a scubadiving holiday, an around the world plane ticket, a relationship, or, a carefree lifestyle.
Old habit die hard. My friend always amazed by my shopping itineries. I go to the brand new items just hit the store, spend most of my times there happily observing their fabrics, designs, patterns, textures and buy nothing. “Why are you going shopping?" I am smart enough to realize I couldn’t afford the most wanted things in my list in fashion. But there are other items in life I wouldn’t give up. Relationship might be one; lifestyle might be two. I got what I want, but they are things I couldn’t afford.
